About The Position

The Case Manager is responsible for supporting Bellefaire JCB’s mentoring programs, including the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters Association (JBBBSA) and the Foster Youth Mentoring Program. The Case Manager maintains regular contact with their caseload and provides monthly support to mentors, mentees, guardians, and partnering agencies. This position requires flexibility, including evening and weekend hours, to effectively engage with mentorship matches and support program events. The programs serve youth ages 6–21 through community-based mentoring. Bellefaire JCB is among the nation’s largest, most experienced child service agencies providing a variety of behavioral health, substance abuse, education and prevention, and autism services. Through more than 25 programs, we help more than 30,000 youth and their families each year achieve resiliency, dignity and self-sufficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required
  • Valid Ohio LSW or LPC required

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive supervision to mentors, mentees, guardians, and contract agencies to maintain the integrity of mentoring matches through the full match life cycle (interview, training, introduction, ongoing supervision, assessment, closure).
  • Collaborate with colleagues and program leadership to ensure timely creation, monitoring, and support of new matches.
  • Conduct monthly individual check-ins and group meetings for mentors, mentees, and guardians as required by program guidelines.
  • Serve as a resource, referral source, and advocate to appropriate Bellefaire JCB and community services.
  • Remain in compliance with all BBBSA program standards, including required documents, policies, practices, procedures, and materials.
  • Contribute to the clinical record through timely, accurate documentation in accordance with licensing, accreditation, and program standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of mentee and client information and handle all documentation according to agency guidelines.
  • Complete all necessary administrative tasks, including record keeping, staff meetings, supervision, volunteer committee staffing, and coverage of agency requirements.
  • Support and attend program events such as group outings, program fundraisers, volunteer appreciation events, and agency functions.
  • Assist with special events and annual meetings as required.
  • Maintain current required trainings, certifications, and licensure.
  • Uphold high ethical and professional standards, adhering to Agency policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
