We are searching for an Innovation Intern to conduct research and provide recommendations in support of an emerging county-wide AI upskilling program. This initiative is focused on building a more resilient workforce by helping Jefferson County employees and community members develop essential skills for using AI in in-demand roles. The intern will support early-stage research and planning efforts that inform how the program could be designed, delivered, and evaluated. This may include researching comparable programs, exploring approaches to curriculum, and identifying tools or strategies to support learning, assessment, and outcome measurement. The role may also involve applying business analysis practices such as understanding stakeholder needs, documenting requirements, and analyzing gaps to help translate research findings into actionable recommendations. The successful candidate will be curious, analytical, and interested in research-driven decision making, business analysis, and the intersection of technology, workforce development, and public service.
