Requirements

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to stay organized while multi-tasking
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Capable of climbing, squatting, and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks within the JDAM manufacturing cell, which may include fabrication, machining (mill and/or lathe), assembly, sheet rolling, mechanized welding, hardware addition, conversion coating/dipping, and paint preparation.
  • Operate and maintain common hand tools effectively.
  • Utilize manual inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, ID micrometers, and go/no-go gauges to ensure product quality.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and drawings to manufacture parts to specification.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to verify accuracy and quality of work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-compliant (Foreign Object Debris) work area.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and actively promote a culture of safety within the plant.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
