About The Position
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position. The role involves consulting on or participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering, contributing to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. The Java Developer will review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Additionally, the developer will contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. The position requires collaboration with client personnel in Software Engineering and leading complex technology initiatives that have company-wide implications. The Java Developer will act as a key participant in developing standards and company-wide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions across various technology engineering disciplines. Responsibilities also include designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting projects and programs, as well as reviewing and analyzing complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives. The role demands making decisions in developing standard and company-wide best practices for engineering and technology solutions, requiring an understanding of industry best practices and new technologies. The developer will influence and lead the technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaboration and consultation with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals is also essential. The Java Developer will lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor, focusing on the design, optimization, and documentation of the Engineering aspects of the Cloud platform. The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy, requiring constant attention and decision-making. The developer will build and enable cloud infrastructure, automating the orchestration of the entire PCF/Azure/GCP Cloud Platforms for the client Enterprise.
