About The Position

Northstrat is seeking a Java Software Developer to join an established program comprised of multiple agile development teams. As part of the development process, you will solve unique and complex problems critical to national mission solutions. You will collaboratively create mission critical software applications for its users, whom we coordinate with heavily for design and development to ensure we bring the right product to make our users efficient and effective in the execution of their mission.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CI poly.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or related experience.
• Java proficiency equivalent to years of experience.
• Proficiency with Linux development including command line.
• Must be available to work onsite in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Angular.
• Experience with source code management tools.
• Current Security+ certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop mission critical software applications using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with users for design and development to ensure effective solutions.
• Solve complex problems critical to national mission solutions.
• Utilize technologies such as Spring Framework, Angular, TypeScript, CSS, and Groovy.
• Manage source code using tools like Git, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
• Track issues using tools like Jira and Confluence.
