About The Position

Student worker must be fluent and be able to read and write in Japanese. Primary Responsibilities Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students. Student must be able to work with the Language Lab and instructors to help students learn the language. Provide private instruction to individual or small groups of students to improve academic performance, improve occupational skills, or prepare for academic or occupational tests. Student also reports directly to the course instructor regarding student needs. Assess students' progress throughout tutoring sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Student worker must be fluent and be able to read and write in Japanese.
  • Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time.
  • Work Experience: Intermediate (Developing Skills)
  • Work Experience Description: Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.
  • Lower Division Courses Completed
