About The Position

The Janitorial position is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our facilities across the United States. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. The janitor will contribute to the overall health and safety of the workplace by managing waste disposal, sanitizing surfaces, and addressing any cleanliness issues promptly. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to support daily operational needs. Ultimately, the janitor plays a critical role in creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients by upholding cleanliness and order throughout the premises.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work.
• Familiarity with the use of commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Certification in OSHA or other workplace safety training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure all fixtures are clean and functional.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to prevent hazards.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for events or meetings as needed.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs to management.
