About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to support cleanliness and organization at our two pediatric clinic locations in Richmond and Winchester. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff by performing routine cleaning and responding to as-needed cleaning tasks throughout the day. The position will require travel between the two clinics for daily cleaning responsibilities. This role is essential to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control across both clinics. Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of a busy healthcare environment are key to success in this position.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across two locations
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)
• Dependability and being punctual are a must
• Must be able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in healthcare settings

Responsibilities

• Travel between both clinic locations to complete daily cleaning tasks
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the clinics
• Clean and restock restrooms (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
• Sanitize gym equipment, therapy/play equipment, and toys regularly
• Take out trash and medical waste (per guidelines)
• Perform deeper cleaning of rooms and spaces after clinic hours
• Respond to spills or urgent cleaning needs during operating hours
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols
