About The Position

The Janitorial Specialist plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and
welcoming environment for team members, customers, and donors. This position is
responsible for performing daily cleaning, sanitation, and light maintenance
tasks in retail stores, offices, and shared workspaces. With attention to detail
and pride in presentation, the Janitorial Specialist helps uphold Goodwill’s
standards of cleanliness and supports a positive experience for all who enter
our facilities. This role requires the ability to work independently, follow
schedules, and adapt to a dynamic retail setting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in custodial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning routines across restrooms, breakrooms, floors, entrances, and shared workspaces
• Identify and report safety hazards such as spills, debris, or equipment concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports team morale, customer satisfaction, and donor pride
• Adhere to and promote the policies and standards of Goodwill of SWPA, the business unit, and training site
