About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail‑oriented Janitorial Shift Supervisor to lead a team of custodians and ensure our client’s facility is maintained to the highest standards. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and the leadership presence to guide and support a team.

Requirements

Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
1–3 years of janitorial experience
Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Team Coordinator preferred
Ability to lift 35 lbs repetitively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Ability to motivate and guide a team with kindness
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Problem‑solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected situations
Professional attitude and customer‑service approach
Must be able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
Must be authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Team Coordinator preferred

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties, including:
Pulling trash, Dusting, Restroom cleaning, sanitizing, vacuuming, and floor care
Supervise and support janitorial staff during the shift
Train new employees and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed
Coordinate daily tasks and special projects with team members
Conduct quality checks to ensure all areas meet the scope-of-work standards
Communicate effectively with management regarding staffing, supplies, and building needs
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment
Serve as the point of contact for on-site issues during the shift
Other tasks assigned by the Manager
