Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or institutional cleaning is a plus, but not required.
• Must possess a strong positive attitude and a proactive, self-starting work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor when interacting with school personnel and visitors.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 35 lbs), and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for the duration of the shift.
• Must be dependable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.
• All candidates must successfully pass a lifetime criminal background check with no disqualifying factors.
• All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Routine Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors (classrooms, offices, common areas, hallways).
• Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly.
• Surface Care: Wiping down surfaces, desks, countertops, and fixtures.
• Event Support: Performing necessary cleaning and setup/takedown tasks for special school events.
• Safety: Reporting any necessary repairs, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
