About The Position

Key Responsibilities. Daily Operations Oversight — Supervise day porters and janitorial staff, ensuring all scheduled tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards. Client Communication — Maintain professional, responsive communication with building management, tenants, and vendors regarding service needs, special requests, or concerns. Work Assignment & Scheduling — Coordinate daily task lists, break schedules, and coverage plans to ensure uninterrupted service throughout the day. Training & Coaching — Train new employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, equipment use, and company standards. Supply & Inventory Management — Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and restroom products; submit replenishment requests as needed. Safety & Compliance — Ensure staff follow all safety guidelines, including proper chemical handling, PPE use, and equipment operation. Incident Response — Address spills, emergencies, and urgent cleaning needs promptly and professionally. Reporting — Document completed work, inspection results, incidents, and maintenance issues requiring escalation.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions from the management team and complete all assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to use Angus as the work‑order management system (training will be provided).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong team‑player mindset.
  • Flexibility to arrive before 7 AM or stay past 4 PM in the event of an emergency.

  • Prior janitorial supervisory experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Pay rate: $16.50 - $17.86 per hour based on experience
  • 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM)
