PCSI is looking for a Janitorial Supervisor to lead the janitorial work at clinics on the Toole and Dugway Proving Grounds. The Janitorial Supervisor assigns, monitors, and inspects the work of a janitor and administrative tasks associated with overseeing the work, such as ordering supplies and responding to requests. This role is a working supervisor and is also responsible for janitorial duties and some floor care. The Supervisor travels daily between Tooele, UT and Dugway, UT and must have a drivers license. This position works 4 days/week, 10 hour shifts, typical hours are Monday-Thursday 6:30am-5pm. What You'll Do as Janitorial Supervisor: Perform cleaning and maintenance of outbuildings. Assign tasks and work schedules. Required to assist Janitor in duties as needed to complete work assigned. Handle all requests and complaints with a sense of urgency and meet standard response times. Direct and monitor work assignments for janitorial duties; conduct inspection, check completion of work, and ensure compliance to contract specifications. Maintain time and attendance and resolve routine disciplinary problems. Perform floor care maintenance using wet vacuums, buffers, blower fans to clean and polish floors; strip floors and baseboards as needed. Wipe down doors, furniture, and equipment as needed following established procedures. Maintain assigned equipment in satisfactory and working condition. Order and maintain all cleaning supplies, equipment and tools and submit invoices of ordered supplies. Read and fully understand the “Safety Data Sheets” (SDS) for all chemicals and solutions used in processes and procedures. Follow all facility safety policies and procedures and comply with City, State, and Federal agency requirements, and ensure employee compliance.
