Janitorial Associate - 2nd Shift ($19.35/hr.)

Under general supervision performs a variety of custodial duties in assigned areas. Responsible for general cleaning in all areas of the facility. Primarily works on own, with minimal direct supervision. Requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively by oneself with minimal direct supervision throughout the day.
- Be able to handle and lift mop buckets, weighing up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Sweeps, mops and dusts assigned areas. These include bathrooms, cafeterias, offices and entry ways.
- Removes full trash containers from bathrooms, offices and cafeteria.
- Operates powered floor sweepers.
- Responsible for keeping track of consumable supply items (i.e. paper towels, bathroom tissues, cleaning supplies, etc) and turning in orders so as to keep facility adequately supplied.
- Check in received orders to verify shipments are complete.
- Check supply levels of coffee machine in cafeterias. Order supplies as needed.
- Handles a variety of chemicals for cleaning. Follows safe handling procedures.
- On occasion must deal with bodily waste clean-up and disposal. Follows proper procedures for handling and disposal.
- Any other special cleaning related items as assigned.
