About The Position

AVStar Fuel Systems in Auburn, New York is seeking a reliable full time Janitor / Custodian to maintain a clean and safe facility. This role is responsible for routine cleaning of offices, work areas, restrooms, and common areas, as well as basic outdoor maintenance including lawn mowing and snow removal.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and periodic random screenings
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
• Clean high-touch surfaces such as doors, handles, light switches, and countertops
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas including sinks, appliances, and refrigerators
• Assist with outdoor maintenance including mowing lawn areas and shoveling snow from walkways and entrances
