About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment for staff and production operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous janitorial or custodial experience, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings, is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
May require flexibility in schedule for special assignments and cleaning projects.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial or custodial experience, especially in industrial or manufacturing settings, is a plus.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, lobby and offices.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
Remove trash and recyclables from work areas and properly dispose of waste materials.
Perform regular cleaning of walls, windows, doors, and other surfaces.
Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies such as paper towels, soap, and sanitizer.
Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
Support with special cleaning projects (e.g., deep cleaning, post-maintenance cleanup).
Adhere to schedules while being flexible to respond to urgent cleaning needs.
