About The Position
The Janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition working areas include but are not limited to; offices, restrooms, showers buildings and other facilities at the USACE property. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and carpet cleaning floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and minor maintenance services; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Requirements
- Regularly required to walk, talk, and listen.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently.
- Ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
- One year of experience in related field
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED, with at least one (1) year experience in related field.
