How you will make contributions that matter: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility. Performs variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Responsible for disposing waste and waste segregation in accordance with recycling programs. Maintains records of cleaning activities. Operates cleaning equipment, including ride-on sweeper/scrubbers, walk-behind scrubbers and pallet jacks. Ensures proper use of cleaning chemicals, storage and supply. Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor. Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements. Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team. Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.

Requirements

Are able to read and communicate effectively in English
Can work assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays
Have basic math knowledge
Have a demonstrated work history
Are able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
Are able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors
Able to operate material handling equipment
Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift
Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift
Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures
Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis
