About The Position

This Janitor position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across various areas of a facility, including general essential job functions, break room, windows and doors, trash management, service bay, offices, secure trash handling, loft organization, and grounds upkeep. The role involves a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, as well as miscellaneous duties like wrapping coin bags and packing storage boxes. The work is performed in a warehouse environment with controlled temperatures and primarily requires standing.

Responsibilities

Scrub floors and baseboards at the beginning of every month with scrub brush and cleanser.
Wash walls, cabinets, and doors weekly.
Clean daily, with cleanser, toilets, sinks, and urinals.
Clean mirrors, and as needed during the week.
Replace paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and urinal disinfectant disk as needed.
Replace and change air conditioner filters.
Dust, sweep, and mop secure room area as needed.
Shred papers as requested.
Replace inside and outside light bulbs as needed.
Wash tables and chairs daily (Break Room).
Mop floors daily (Break Room).
Scrub floors and baseboards once a month (Break Room).
Dust off all snack machines, microwave, refrigerator, and counter tops daily (Break Room).
Clean and wash out refrigerator every Friday (Break Room).
Wipe down water fountains daily (Break Room).
Dust and wash windowsills, doors, and doorframes weekly (Windows and Doors).
Clean all windows weekly (Windows and Doors).
Empty all trash containers daily and replace liners as needed (Trash).
Wash out and disinfect trash containers monthly (Trash).
Sweep and mop with degreaser, and squeegee service bay floors daily, after trucks leave (Service Bay).
Wash service bay doors and drain daily (Service Bay).
Sweep, mop, wash doors and walls of Man Traps weekly (Service Bay).
Dust all office equipment, desks, bookcases, and file cabinets weekly (Offices).
Vacuum and sweep floors twice weekly (Offices).
Spot clean carpet as needed (Offices).
Wash walls monthly (Offices).
Secure trash in the proper secure trash area/bins daily (Secure Trash).
File boxes taken to the loft for storage as needed (Loft).
Dust and sweep loft weekly (Loft).
Replace/clean furnace filters every two weeks (Loft).
Remove trash from parking lot as needed (Grounds).
Wrap coin bags into bundles daily (Miscellaneous).
Pack storage boxes as requested (Miscellaneous).
