About The Position

Accountabilities: Take Initiative creating a safe work environment, paying attention to surroundings and participating in keeping self and coworkers safe Employees must understand the general requirements of ISO9001; employees are expected to understand the Quality Policy and have a working knowledge of the Quality Management System in terms of their job function and interaction with process owners Must understand AS9100 requirements as they relate to Judson Smith May perform other duties as assigned ENTIRE PLANT: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, floors and machines. Empties plant trash and garbage containers. Removes cardboard boxes for recycling. Helps in unloading raw material. Notifies management concerning need for major repairs. Samples raw material as needed by quality department Perform building maintenance duties as assigned MACHINING DIVISION: Maintain coolant and lubricant levels in machinery. Perform periodic preventative maintenance of identified equipment. Conveys materials and items from stock or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as type, style, size, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information. Records amounts of materials or items distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant.
