About The Position

Cypress Ridge Care Center is committed to providing high‑quality care in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Janitor to join our team and help maintain our facility’s high standards of cleanliness.

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the care center, including common spaces, restrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.

Requirements

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable working in a healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, staff areas, and high‑traffic zones
• Maintain floors, including spot‑cleaning and buffing as needed
• Restock supplies and maintain a safe, hazard‑free environment
• Assist with light maintenance tasks when necessary
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection‑control standards
• Support special cleaning projects when assigned
