About The Position
Tessera is seeking a proactive and dependable Janitor with a can-do attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Office Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors. Cleaning halls and high traffic areas – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Cleaning entrances and exits – take out trash, sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Restroom Cleaning – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Dusting – dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only. Cleaning stairwells – sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule. Cleaning portable showers – clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures. Restocking supplies – restock supplies daily. Maintaining lockers – clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment before storing. Cleaning Floors – sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, waxing, and buffing.
Requirements
- 6 months of janitorial experience is preferred.
- Valid state driver license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum’s insurance carrier.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
- A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
