About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a Janitorial Technician at their Broadway facility. This is a full-time role working Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility to support daily operations. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing production areas, common spaces, and equipment, ensuring all areas meet company standards for safety, food quality, and cleanliness. The role also supports a strong culture of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and contributes to a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements

Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive, courteous attitude, especially when cleaning in shared spaces during busy times. Must be understanding and respectful of staff members' needs.
Ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Thoroughness in cleaning and organizing areas like restrooms, cafeterias, and production spaces.
Strong time management skills and consistent and punctual attendance.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision, as this role operates as a team of one.
Safety awareness and adaptability.

Responsibilities

Clean and replenish supplies for the office & production area restrooms and locker rooms throughout the shift.
Fills paper and soap dispensers.
Empties garbage cans from various locations.
Cleans and organizes cafeteria.
Collects recyclable cans, paper and glass.
Vacuum rugs throughout facility and pedestrian bridge.
Responsible to follow all safety rules and work safely at all times.
Responsible to report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
