As Janitor you will play an essential role in keeping Kelli’s facilities clean, safe, and welcoming. This position is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including mopping and vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms, and emptying trash and recycling containers. By ensuring a sanitary and orderly environment, the Janitor helps support the overall success and daily operations of the business.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Understanding of workplace safety standards
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)
- Carry out cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Other duties when assigned
