About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Operate a floor jack in a safe manner. Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material. Complete operator check list daily. Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns. Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers. Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line. Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
  • Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years.
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • This position is being hired with the expectation of overlapping responsibilities in anticipation of a current team member’s potential departure. If the incumbent team member does not leave, the selected candidate may be reassigned to a comparable role or placed in a general labor position, based on operational needs.

  • This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson.
  • Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
