About The Position

Requirements

Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must not have a self-demotion or declined a job bid in the last six (6) months, unless the bid is to a higher class.
Must have less than 8 attendance points at the time of the bid and to be awarded the job.
Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available class 1 position in the plant.
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Responsibilities

Operate scale & bagger system.
Maintain accurate weights and assist in evaluation of product to help ensure weights.
Assist with clean-up and sanitation following USDA/Tyson guidelines.
Maintain and keep accurate count on all materials used.
All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
All qualified applicant’s safety record will be reviewed.
Follow safe practices including the use of personal protective equipment when required.
Follow all sanitary procedures and policies.
Lift up to 50-70 lbs. occasionally.
Understand and follow instructions given by Supervisor.
