About The Position

This position, a Jack Driver Opr PR03, is responsible for the timely transportation and unloading of materials using a pallet jack. The role requires maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. It involves operating a floor jack safely, coordinating with the Supervisor, and keeping accurate records of finished products and packaging materials. Daily tasks include completing operator checklists, informing the Supervisor of repairs and safety concerns, and ensuring the production line is supplied with necessary items like pallets, condemned bins, and recyclable containers. The incumbent must also verify the accuracy of materials and ingredients used on the production line and assist with clean-up and sanitation according to USDA/Tyson guidelines. All other duties assigned by the Supervisor are also part of this role.

Requirements

  • Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
  • Must have 6 months continuous work history in 2 years
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Must provide government identification number for previous Tyson employment history verification
  • This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson
  • Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while using a pallet jack
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Operate a floor jack in a safe manner
  • Coordinate through the Supervisor and keep accurate records of finished product and packaging material
  • Complete operator check list daily
  • Inform Supervisor of needed repairs and safety concerns
  • Keep production line supplied with pallets, condemned bin and recyclable containers
  • Verify accuracy of all materials and ingredients used on production line
  • Assist with clean-up and sanitation of line following USDA/Tyson guidelines
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Supervisor
