Apollo is seeking a highly motivated Regional Consultant to join the Southeast team. The Regional Consultant’s primary responsibility is to drive fundraising results across Apollo’s suite of investment solutions, both perpetual and episodic, through the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) channel. The Regional Consultant will be accountable for developing and managing relationships with RIAs across the market—regardless of firm AUM—with a primary focus on those managing $1B+ in assets. This individual should be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and team-centric environment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and energetic, possess a strong understanding of both capital and private markets, and have a proven track record of raising and retaining assets within the RIA channel. The Regional Consultant will drive the continual growth of the firm’s market share by developing trusted relationships and supporting all aspects of the sales cycle from prospecting, to closing business to asset retention. This includes partnering with the investment organization to gain an in depth understanding of their history, clientele, investment philosophy, and buy / sell discipline to drive comprehensive and consultative investment discussions on investment strategies through the portfolio construction process. Regional Consultant works closely with key distributors, platform specialists, research and due diligence personnel at target firms.
