About The Position

Candidates can be considered for other status and shift as available. Responsible for assisting the IV Pharmacist by preparation of sterile IV products in the IV area, stocking and preparing for delivery medications stored and prepared in the area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technician Certification is preferred.
• MUST be registered with the State of Tennessee within 90 days of employment.
• Must have Pharmacy Technician experience.

• Technician Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews IV Compounding Area Inventory, Compiles and Processes replacement items from the appropriate departments.
• Determines the priority of all IV and PiggyBack medications presented form print list and compounds necessary items using sterile technique.
• Prepares final product of IV Piggybacks in the Add-Vantage system using sterile
• Procures large volume IV and Additives, involving multi-additive solutions, then aligns with a label for Pharmacist to check.
• Monitors daily floor-stock of sterile skin tests and replenish as necessary.
