IV Technician
About The Position
The IV technician is an individual who, through didactic and supervised practice, has acquired the knowledge and has developed the skills necessary for the practice of intravenous (IV) placement, troubleshooting, and site care. Performs delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN. Performs IV insertion in the ambulatory and inpatient settings. Responsibilities
