The Position We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior ITSM Systems Analyst to support and enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and tools. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing platforms such as ServiceNow, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and Microsoft Project, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for process improvement, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in ITSM, systems analysis, or technical support.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ITIL practices and frameworks.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of scripting or automation (JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, or Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator are a plus but not required.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and support of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB).
  • Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and support of ServiceNow ITAM connectors and data reconciliations.
  • Support Atlassian tools (Jira workflows, Confluence spaces) for ITSM-related projects and documentation across multiple entities and departments
  • Support end-user requests related to asset lifecycle and access management
  • Analyze ITSM data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide oversight for ITAM process adherence and data consistency
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Document processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Generate and maintain dashboards and reports for KPIs and SLAs.
  • Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Work closely with ITSM leadership, service desk teams, and application owners.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support ITSM initiatives and projects.
  • Provide end-user support and training as needed.
