About The Position

Trio Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an ITAD Sourcing Specialist focused on decommissioned servers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in sourcing and acquiring decommissioned server assets from various clients and industries, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client-specific requirements. Your efforts will contribute significantly to our IT asset disposition (ITAD) services, providing a sustainable solution for businesses looking to responsibly manage their IT infrastructure.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Prior experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably related to IT assets.
Strong understanding of electronics, specifically server hardware, and IT asset disposition (ITAD) processes.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for record-keeping and compliance.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Identifying potential sources for decommissioned servers
Negotiating purchase agreements
Maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs
Conducting thorough evaluations of available assets
Assessing their potential for refurbishment or recycling
Working with the engineering team to coordinate logistics and processing
Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and assessments for compliance and reporting purposes
