About The Position

IT Vendor Specialist Primary Position: · Vendor Relationship Management: Serve as primary contact, build strong relationships, and facilitate communication. · Contract & Procurement: Assist in negotiating, draft, and manage IT contracts, renewals, and amendments (RFPs, RFIs). · Performance & Compliance: Monitor vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations; research disputes, provide findings and supporting documentation to your manager. · Strategic Alignment: Understand business needs, align IT vendor strategies with company goals, and develop vendor roadmaps. · Risk Management: Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and security standards; assess vendor risks. · Internal Coordination: Collaborate with department managers to gather requirements and resolve issues. · Reporting & Documentation: Maintain contract repositories, track vendor data, and report on vendor performance to your manager. In addition to primary position: · Assist with IT helpdesk duties. Examples – Password lockout requests and first level light IT troubleshooting. · IT administrative tasks. May include filing, scanning and organizing the department IT drive. · Documentation review and suggestions. · Independently prioritize day-to-day activities and unexpected distractions. · Quickly resolve problems with client requests and follow through with vendor shortcomings. · Comply with SharePoint Credit Union policies and procedures. · Assist in other areas or advanced IT activates as needed. Ability to confidently perform the above tasks, initiative to work with teams, and grow with the credit union. Internal candidates must have been with SharePoint CU and/or within their current role for at least 6 months.
