About The Position

The IT Vendor Management Analyst plays a crucial role in managing strategic vendor relationships at Mattel. This position involves coordinating key vendor meetings, resolving vendor escalations, and enhancing vendor processes to ensure effective collaboration and accountability. The analyst will oversee contracts, assess vendor performance, and support vendor governance activities, contributing to the overall success of the vendor management office (VMO).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or Business Administration.
• 2+ years of experience dealing with IT vendors.
• Understanding of vendor contract language.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments and vendors.
• Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) with strategic vendors.
• Facilitate communication by publishing EBR meeting notes and following up on action items.
• Perform contract oversight and hold managed vendors accountable to their contractual obligations.
• Assess internal technology and business satisfaction levels through the execution of a vendor scorecard.
• Support vendor governance activities like SOW review and internal escalations.
• Guide effective communication between the organization and managed vendors.
• Support VMO teams (Contract management and Software asset management) as needed.
• Organize in-person EBRs, workshops, and vendor events.
• Maintain up-to-date VMO process documentation.
