About The Position

The Information Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks. The Information Technician reports to the Senior Accounting/IT Projects Manager and provides hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations about future planning and development of resources. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources.

  • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks

  • Must be able to physically perform the essential functions of the role as outlined.
  • Use of hands and fingers, sitting and standing, twisting, bending and reaching during the duration of the shift using office equipment and computers.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds of material; including but not limited to, minor office equipment, paper, files, etc. The Information Technician will have to do some lifting of computer equipment, supplies and materials from time to time.
  • Ability to work in cold wet environment as necessary.
