Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for IT Technical Engineering Intern to be in Santa Clara, CA. The Intern term is from June to August, 2026. Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Purpose: As an IT Intern - Technical Engineering, you will gain practical experience supporting enterprise application and integration landscape, including Oracle ERP and Boomi. The intern will assist with monitoring and improving system integrations with external systems. This internship provides hands-on exposure to ERP systems, integrations and real-world business workflows.

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, computer and Electrical engineering, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, SDLC and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of databases, SQL and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring integration and data flows to analyze integration errors, failures and performance issues.
  • Provide support to design and build and error monitoring dashboard to visualize integration status and failures.
  • Collect, transform and analyze error logs and system data from application, database and integration platforms.
  • Document integration processes, error handling procedures and resolution steps.
  • Develop basic reports and visualizations for technical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with various IT team members and support continuous improvement of data flows, error handling and monitoring.
