Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support roles
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments and Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to varying deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support users of varying technical skill levels
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Windows Server environments
  • Experience supporting printers and peripheral devices
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial IT environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, including hardware and software installations and upgrades
  • Support business applications including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Microsoft Business Central, and other manufacturing-related systems
  • Assist with onboarding of new employees, including device setup, system access, and basic training
  • Provide one-on-one support and training to end-users on hardware and software usage
  • Develop and maintain user documentation such as training materials, FAQs, and procedural guides
  • Support telecommunications systems, including office phones, voicemail, and mobile devices
  • Assist with testing, deployment, and support of printers and other peripheral devices
  • Proactively identify recurring technical issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and user experience
  • Stay current with desktop and LAN technologies through ongoing learning and professional development
  • Perform other duties as assigned
