About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Engineer to provide comprehensive technical support for our Jasper facility as well as general remote worker IT support. This role is critical in ensuring smooth IT operations, supporting local employees, and driving technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly communicative, and capable of taking initiative to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Teams and Active Directory are MUST haves
  • This person needs terrific soft skills and a proven ability to build trust/ strong relationships
  • Experience: Minimum five years of progressive, hands-on experience in IT support or a closely related technical role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, PC rebuild processes, and hardware provisioning.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams installation, management, and operation for both end-user devices and Teams Rooms systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365 suite).
  • Experience with Active Directory and identity management systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs) and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • PC Rebuilds & Hardware Provisioning
  • Perform system imaging, configuration, and deployment of desktops and laptops.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle, including setup, maintenance, and replacement.
  • Develop written processes which are repeatable and reproducible.
  • Software Support
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise applications and productivity tools.
  • Provide hands-on support for local employees to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Microsoft Teams Support & Implementation
  • Leads Teams deployment, configuration, and user training.
  • Manage Teams operations both at the client side (desktop/mobile) and rooms side (conference room systems).
  • Troubleshoot Teams-related issues and optimize collaboration tools for meetings and calls.
  • Account Creation & Identity Management
  • Create and manage user accounts across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure proper access controls and permissions are applied in line with security policies.
  • Support identity lifecycle management, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
  • General IT & Networking Support
  • Provide first-level troubleshooting for network connectivity issues (wired and wireless).
  • Assist with basic network configuration and escalation to network engineering when needed.
  • Support printers, peripherals, and other connected devices.
  • Intake and triage level 2 (escalated) IT support issues for remote workers
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with adjacent teams such as Networking, Cybersecurity, and Facilities to ensure seamless technology integration and support.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and implement improvements.
