Processing of customer requests submitted via the portal, SharePoint request tool, and ad-hoc requests received via the IT support email address. Deliver in person desk-side IT assistance as needed to customers within the Forrestal facility and virtual assistance to all customers (basic workstation set-up, monitor, and peripheral installation) Serve as request facilitator and liaison for outside sites and associated service providers ensuring that outside customers receive the services needed to accomplish mission. Tracks and maintains IT property inventory and associated IT portfolio to include onsite management/tracking of IT equipment located within storage rooms. Working with DOE property management and federal IT team members for disposal of access IT property as needed. Maintains email distribution lists at a minimum monthly updates/validation for accuracy. Maintains SharePoint site ensuring that appropriate content is posted on behalf of the division for our customers (not critical but preferred) Assists with the quarterly IT lunch and learn providing guidance on how to acquire IT assistance. Works closely with the Division director on content. We need someone with excellent customer service skills because this function will require daily interaction with end users.
