About The Position

The IT Systems Architect is instrumental in the advanced design, development, maintenance, and documentation of systems infrastructure and security solutions for Palomar Health. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Planning and implementing future designs of Palomar Health systems and security infrastructure Maintaining Palomar Health existing infrastructure including Active Directory, Exagrid, UCS, Citrix, VMWare, VDI/SSO, Exchange, DUO, and other critical systems Installing, updating and configuring infrastructure equipment Configuring infrastructure systems and data security systems to keep data protected Monitoring and maintaining performance monitoring systems Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating infrastructure system issues to other employees and management Updating and Implementing disaster recovery procedures Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and infrastructure systems best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to Palomar Health systems Mentoring and training Palomar IT Systems Engineers Working closing with Palomar Health management to align the company objectives with infrastructure and security implementations. Ability to speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7 - 10 years related functional IT experience with at least 5 years related to decision support applications areas
  • Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or other related field
  • 10 or more years related functional IT experience with at least 7 years related to decision support applications

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing future designs of Palomar Health systems and security infrastructure
  • Maintaining Palomar Health existing infrastructure including Active Directory, Exagrid, UCS, Citrix, VMWare, VDI/SSO, Exchange, DUO, and other critical systems
