About The Position

Wellspire Medical is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Systems Administrator to oversee and manage our technology infrastructure, security, and IT operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems while supporting clinical, operational, and administrative teams. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic thinking capabilities, particularly within a healthcare or regulated environment.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT management.
Strong experience with: o Google Workspace o Networking (firewalls, VPNs, switching, routing) o Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Experience in cybersecurity best practices.
Experience supporting healthcare or other regulated environments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in HIPAA-compliant environments.
Experience managing hybrid or multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, endpoints, and cloud environments (e.g., Ubiquity).
Monitor system performance, uptime, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Maintain documentation of systems architecture, configurations, and IT processes.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare data security standards.
Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, endpoint protection, MFA, encryption, and access controls.
Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
Lead incident response and remediation efforts when needed.
Tier 2 Help Desk support
Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and service contracts.
Support EMR/EHR systems and other clinical platforms.
Manage procurement and cost optimization initiatives.
Lead IT projects such as system migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
