We are looking for a creative, strategic, and community minded Marketing and Public Relations Specialist who is ready to elevate our brand, strengthen our community presence, and help people access the care they need. The IT Systems Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, secure and uninterrupted operation of our high-availability server and network infrastructure. This position supports the backbone of our healthcare services, from clinical operations and administrative workflows to regulatory compliance and Electronic Health Record (HER) systems. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of mission critical systems that keep our organization running. This professional role requires independent judgement, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with HIPPA, internal policies, and established Service Level Agreements.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or completion of an accredited vocational training program within information technology OR Five years equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of equivalent experience in information technology.
  • At least 3 years Experience supporting clinical systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms
  • Knowledge of organizational business processes, computer applications, operating systems, and current technologies available to facilitate product and service delivery to customers.
  • Experience with a variety of server and desktop operating systems in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-grade hardware platforms and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) technologies; experience with blade server environments is a plus.
  • Proficiency with virtualization platforms and hypervisors used for managing and deploying virtual servers and desktops.
  • Skilled in designing, deploying, and managing directory services and group policy configurations in centralized IT environments.
  • Skilled in documenting changes, maintaining configuration control, and keeping a system security accreditation in good standing.
  • Skilled in prioritizing workload assignments based on business needs.
  • Ability to maintain interpersonal skills to develop professional working relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing; communicate proficiently in written reports and deliver information through presentations.
  • Ability to think critically, exercise good judgment, and make sound decisions and recommendations consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry, and vaccine mandate attestation requirements of either having been vaccinated or present documentation needed for a medical or religious exemption.
  • Must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License and must be insurable through our company.

  • Certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).

Responsibilities

  • Manages the physical and virtual server environments including Vsphere and Hyper-V
  • Maintains on premise active directory infrastructure, along with MS365, Azure Infrastructure
  • Ensures the security of the server infrastructure by implementing industry best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develops and maintains documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
  • Manages end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations.
  • Practices asset management, including maintenance of component inventory related documentation and technical specifications information
  • Manages server and workstation patching
  • Conducts the performance of backups and restores; completes server builds.
  • Supports the Network Administrator in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and mentorship to lower level staff.
  • Adheres to all QCH and QWC Policies.
