About The Position

The area of responsibility for the IT Infrastructure Administrator is to maintain and improve the servers, systems, and associated products. The IT Infrastructure Administrator position is responsible to help ensure that ICCU is secure and available through the implementation of best practices, risk-based security requirements and controls set-forth by the ICCU Security Program.

Requirements

  • Must have 2-4 years’ experience with relevant systems.
  • Ability to communicate with Executive Management, Credit Union personnel and communicate effectively through customized reports.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to figure out complex problems.
  • Ability to research, analyze, understand and report on high level system issues.
  • Attention to detail on many concurrent projects and initiatives.
  • A demonstrated cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by ICCU.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or engineering/math field is a plus.
  • Security certifications such as Security+ or Azure and Office 365 Security related certificates a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Help to maintain Windows and Linux Servers by patching and ensuring they are deployed according to ICCU’s deployment guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Security and Workstations to configure GPO’s and systems according their recommendations.
  • Assist Team Members with software and system upgrades.
  • Assist the team with monitoring and maintaining Office 365 (Exchange Online and One Drive) and Azure environments.
  • Execute on various projects which included upgrades, new product roll outs, feature enhancements and server team related initiatives.
  • Help to manage endpoint systems such as Work Space One, InTune, JAMF and Defender for Endpoint.
  • Ensure that all systems are compliant with the ICCU Union Security Program.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation across servers, network devices, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with IT system owners, admins, developers, and security teams.
  • Leverage industry-standard tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Nessus, Defender) for vulnerability scanning and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain security controls for endpoint devices using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, JAMF, Intune, and Workspace One.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the SDLC and address application vulnerabilities.
  • Perform vulnerability scans and remediation for network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Oversee vulnerability management for cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Leverage automation tools and scripts to streamline vulnerability detection, reporting, and remediation workflows.
  • Integrate vulnerability management processes with SIEM, ticketing, and asset management systems.
  • Track and report on vulnerability management KPIs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
