About The Position

This position is responsible for providing IT server and network support. Duties include maintaining and troubleshooting servers, networks, storage, wireless, VMware, and all other infrastructure items. Implementing security best practices and documenting infrastructure environment.

Requirements

Associate degree in computer information systems, networking, or related field of study.
Knowledge of various versions of Microsoft Windows Server OS.
Networking experience
Experience with VMware
Excellent problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment
Positive attitude and highly motivated
A team player with excellent communication skills
Customer service oriented

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical work experience.
CompTIA Certifications: A+, Security+, Network+, Linux +, or Server+
Cisco Certifications
Experience with Cisco and Fortinet networking
Experience with Cisco Call Manager
Experience with Fortinet FortiGate
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange preferred.
Experience with Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Oracle Linux)

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade network infrastructure. Cisco, Fortinet and Ubiquiti.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers including VMware Environment, and physical Windows and Linux servers.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Manage Exchange and Office365 servers and mail flow.
Project planning
Backup and DR planning and maintenance
Camera NVR setup and maintenance
Server software application installs and upgrades
Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues along with documenting resolutions.
Assign work orders, follow up on status, and communicate status to users.
Periodically travel to remote locations and assist other IT technicians.
Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent Customer Service
