Under general supervision of the Infrastructure Manager, the IT Systems Administrator primary job purposes are to maintain and ensure the IT environment including in-house and cloud systems, supports Level II help desk functions and collaborates with vendors and the Network Administrator and Cyber Security Team.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Security+
  • Network+
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Azure Solutions Architect
  • Hands-on experience with LAN and WAN networks as well as a good understanding of network switches
  • Good understanding of system security and different techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems from the root cause
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with users of all levels and explain complex technical information into simple and understandable terms
  • Great leadership abilities with experience of managing/supervising a small team
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze large volumes of data and identify trends and patterns

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of all physical and virtual servers. Position will be assisted by other department resources with respect to configuration, set up and installation of servers and associated computers/devices.
  • Proactively manage, maintain, monitor, patch, and problem resolution of all servers and applications that reside on the servers.
  • Implement, configure and maintain server operating systems, network and client protocols, remote access, including applications unique to various departments.
  • Responsible for backup and restore of files, programs, snapshots, logs, databases, and emails.
  • Responsible for the setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of the Citrix Cloud and VDA environment.
  • Participate in a variety of specialized projects, i.e. micro segmentation, disaster recovery, and transit scheduling applications.
  • Maintains accurate records and files related to work performed; maintains inventory records and documents equipment installations and configurations.
  • Maintains user access, including adding and deleting users, modifying their configurations, security rights, and access rights.
  • Maintain cloud applications and mobile device management applications such as: Mosyle, Azure, AWS
  • Monitor anti-virus, malware, and resolve issues.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with LEG employees, customers, vendors, third party SOC and all others contacted during work using principles of excellent customer service
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned.
