About The Position

Our client is seeking a highly experienced IT Systems Administrator - Level 3 - Senior to join our team. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computing infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware products across all computer platforms, including mainframes, workstations, servers, and web servers, in support of 24x7 business processes. The successful candidate will lead enterprise-wide IT infrastructure initiatives while ensuring cybersecurity measures, automation, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Extensive experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
  • Proficiency with VMware virtualization platforms
  • Strong background in DevOps practices and methodologies
  • Advanced networking and cloud-based infrastructure solutions experience
  • Cybersecurity risk management expertise
  • High-availability IT architecture design and implementation
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring and automation tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • 11-15 years of experience managing enterprise IT environments, system architecture, and infrastructure security
  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 business environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects, including data center operations, cloud migrations, and IT automation initiatives
  • Oversee virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, and enterprise-level Active Directory environments
  • Implement IT governance frameworks, cybersecurity measures, and IT policy development for compliance and best practices
  • Evaluate, implement, and modify operating system software parameters and product solutions for optimal performance
  • Manage timely and effective PC hardware and software asset management processes and delivery
  • Ensure on-time and successful completion of IT Operations' audit deliverables
  • Coordinate Performance & Capacity Planning Health Check reviews and action item completion with Business Unit points of contact
  • Oversee workstation patching, compliance and vulnerability reduction
  • Manage System and Configuration Item (CI) transition to operations (TTO)
  • Lead Incident Management / Major Incident Management processes
  • Conduct Problem Management including root cause analyses and continuous improvement in system reliability
  • Work with monitoring engineers to continuously improve issue prediction and detection, as well as incident avoidance and automated response
  • Drive effective utilization of IT Operations' Jira Issue and Risk repositories to prioritize work and achieve positive outcomes
  • Identify integration and other interface requirements for all supported products and platforms
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry regulations
