About The Position

IT Support Technician Good Earth Markets is a lively, health-minded workplace where great people, healthy living, and good energy make every day fun! Job Purpose The IT Support Technician at Good Earth Markets must have experience and a strong foundation in the listed technical skills. This individual will report to and partner with the Information Technology Administrator to improve infrastructure and security according to business needs, plan stable and future proof solutions, and provide support to all business teams. Key Responsibilities Build and support a sustainable IT Department as the backbone of our business. Researching the hardware and software that will provide the greatest value to our company while also being tailored to our specific needs Recommending network and systems configurations that reflect tried and tested methods to produce lasting results Implementing recommended solutions within a provided timeline and budget Creating documentation that enables users to effectively troubleshoot and resolve potential problems that may arise in the future Your effectiveness in completing these duties will rely heavily on your experience with: Network Administration (Modems, Routers, Switches, VLAN, LAN, WAN, Windows Servers) Systems Administration (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Domain Management, VOIP) IT Help Desk Support (Troubleshooting, Asset Management, Imaging, Ticketing Software, Printers and Scanners) Effective Communication (Email, Phone, Chat, Face to Face) Understanding of coding We are an E-verify employer.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of IT support/helpdesk experience
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent knowledge (degree is a plus)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities without constant supervision
  • Clear communication skills across email, chat, phone, and face-to-face
  • Willingness to travel between store locations as needed
  • Physically able to lift/move IT equipment and work on-site setups
  • Batch scripting / PowerShell
  • NVR & IP camera setup/management
  • Web hosting or domain management
  • Basic coding/scripting knowledge
