About The Position

Provide technical support for the Education & Training Center at Scott AFB. This role ensures the operability of classroom and testing room technology systems, including PCs, servers, multimedia equipment, and network components.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hardware and software support for educational or similar environments.
  • Expertise in Windows Server and Windows OS troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with classroom technology systems (Smart Boards, multimedia projection, AV systems).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently without on-site supervision.
  • Must pass background checks and comply with DoD/Air Force security requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certifications and/or relevant degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of PCs, multimedia projection systems, printers, servers, switches/routers, wireless services, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Install and configure hardware/software; perform upgrades and virus protection.
  • Support instructors and test administrators with login and technical issues.
  • Manage inventory and documentation of all tech equipment.
  • Maintain network systems and recommend improvements.
  • Provide user training on classroom technology as requested.
