About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients and internal team members. You will also play a key role in maintaining our IT systems and ensuring their security and functionality.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience with network troubleshooting and administration
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing technologies
Familiarity with IT security best practices and tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

IT certifications (such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+)

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal team members via phone, email, and remote access tools
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity problems, printer malfunctions, and software errors
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including computers, printers, servers, and network devices
Monitor and maintain the security of our IT systems, including firewalls, antivirus software, and backups
Collaborate with the development team to test and implement new software and system updates
Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes
Assist with IT procurement and inventory management
Train and educate team members on basic IT troubleshooting and best practices
Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to our systems
