We’re looking for a proactive and people-oriented IT Support Specialist I to help keep CLEAR’s team running smoothly. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support AV needs for meetings, and ensure new hires are set up for success from day one. You’ll work closely with teams across the company, delivering thoughtful, high-quality support with a strong focus on customer service. It’s a great opportunity to build your IT skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Having 0-2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
  • Loving to help people and having excellent interpersonal skills
  • Being familiar with Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common applications like Zoom and Slack
  • Having a knack for troubleshooting basic technical issues
  • Communicating effectively with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Being organized and able to multitask and manage your time effectively
  • Working well independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Being a motivated self-starter who picks up new skills quickly
  • Demonstrating a bias for action by proactively addressing issues

Responsibilities

  • Assist end-users by troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues both in-person and remotely
  • Image and deploy Mac and Windows OS hardware to ensure new employees have the necessary equipment
  • Manage user accounts in Google Workspace by confirming email addresses, updating distribution lists, and handling shared resources
  • Set up and monitor audio-visual systems for company meetings and events
  • Contribute to creating and updating how-to guides and process documentation
  • Arrange warranty repairs, maintain stockrooms, and perform physical asset counts
  • Respond to support tickets promptly, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including support for executive or VIP users with a white-glove approach
  • Eagerly learn IT processes and procedures, adapting quickly to new technologies and embracing change
